| | | Very poor. HomeClick.com Mar 24, 2008 by: festewart, March 24, 2008 Ordering was easy. Order accuracy was terrible. Instead of a 36" freestanding 6 open burner Viking range, I received a 30" vent. Trust me, there is a significant size and weight difference between the two. I received the vent (which was not what I ordered) on 2/6. I then waited 4 days to receive the email containing the UPS label so that I could send it back. I sent it back on 2/12. HomeClick received the vent on 2/20. They had done nothing between 2/12 and 2/20 to located the range I was supposed to receive. HomeClick then spent from 2/20 to 3/3 telling me that they were "processing" the return. HomeClick customer service told me repeatedly that they would call me with status. They did not. Nor did they email me. Finally on 3/3 I received email indicating that the lead time remaining on locating a range was 9 days. They said it would ship on 3/12. It did not ship on 3/12. I called again on 3/17 to find out why, and they said it was on the loading dock and would ship that afternoon. It did not. I called today (3/24) and they said it did not ship. They do not know why - maybe it was damaged while waiting to ship the customer service person said. HomeClick promised to have a supervisor call me to day - no joy so far. Customer service says manufacturer says they will have correct range to HomeClick on Wednesday. So I asked, "Will it ship on Wednesday?" Answer is: of course not, there will be 1 or 2 days to "process" it. What a bunch of crap. |

| | | Buyers beware HomeClick.com by: frog1723, March 7, 2008 I believe the measure of a great company is not when things are going right, but when they go wrong. Homeclick is a study in how not to handle things when they go wrong. After ordering a hood liner we realized we had ordered the wrong thing. Our mistake. I am sure the hood liner was fine, but it was not what we needed. The problem arose when we tried to cancel the order. Even though the item was in Homeclick's warehouse they were unable to cancel the order. I have tried on several occasions to reach Laura Pena the person in charge of returns and she has not bothered to return any of my phone calls. I have asked to speak to a supervisor in customer service and have been stonewalled by the customer service agents including Latisha, George, and Lester. We are now very unsure about ordering our double wall ovens, cook top, dishwasher, and washer and dryer from Homeclick due to the crummy customer service provided when something goes wrong. Buyers beware! We own our own business and have never had to advertise to gain customers so we know that word of mouth is everything. We strive to please the customer at every turn and as owners are accessible at all times to our consumers. No matter if it is praise or a complaint we are there as owners to do the best we can by our customers. We would never place customer service agents in front of us to deny access to the true people that are responsible and able to make decisions. UPDATE: Shortly after posting this review I was contacted by Laura Pena. We discussed the return of the hood liner and it was decided that I would pay to ship it back and they would waive the 25% re-stock fee. I will update you when I see the actual credit to my credit card and no re-stock fee. |

I am writing to let you know how much we have enjoyed the Fire Magic Custom II gas grill we purchased from you in 2003. It is the finest grill I have ever seen or used. We cook out often and the grill enables us to duplicate the results you get at five-star restaurants.
